Kayla loved music. While finding music for her, we wanted to be certain it reflected not only music she loved, but meaningful songs to help family and friends remember her. Although it should not have been a surprise, as Kayla was such an amazing young woman, we had also stumbled upon her playlists and video uploads to YouTube and MySpace. Yes, the internet can be a wonderful thing!

Through those songs and videos, Kayla still speaks to us, letting us know that she lived a good life, loved, and was at peace with God.

Most recently, her favorite song (completely coincidental) was Me and God by Josh Turner. These are some of the lyrics:

There ain’t nothing that can’t be done
By me and God
Ain’t nobody gonna come in between me and God
One day we’ll live together
Where the angels trod
Me and God
